Online Microschool Fall 2021

Service Description

Welcome to our Online Microschool. This is a small online school that meets Monday & Wednesday each week. Our day will flow gently between topics and we spend no more than 30 minutes on each topic. We'll have a 10 minute break between topics to do a yoga stretch or pose, go to the bathroom and get a snack. We will also have a lunch break. Our microschool does not teach traditional courses, instead we explore our connection to Nature and the Universe, practice Mindfulness & Meditation, learn about Reiki, Crystals, Mandalas and the Moon! Our discussions ebb and flow. Some topics may be finished sooner...the following schedule is not set in stone with time because each child has his or her own timeframe for learning. This means that on some days, we may be done between 3 - 3:30, other days closer to 4:00. Here is how our school day will loosely flow: 12 - 12:30 am Math in Nature 10 minute break for yoga, bathroom and snack 12: 40 - 1:10 Fairytales, Folklore & Myths 10 minute break for yoga, bathroom & snack 1:20 - 1:50 Animals & Animal Symbolism 10 Minute Break for Yoga, Bathroom and Snacks 2:00 - 2:30 All About the Earth 10 Minute Break for Yoga, Bathroom and Snacks 2:40 - 3:10 Conversations with the Universe 10 minute break for yoga, bathroom & snack 3:20 - 3:50 Mindfulness & Meditation 3:50 - 4:00 Rotating Topics Rainbow Reiki Crystals Mandalas Living by the Moon We will be celebrating Fall Equinox, Halloween and Winter Solstice - no class on major holidays We will also learn about 11:11 in the month of November. Students will keep a journal of their discoveries... Every topic will include limitless possibilities for deeper understanding - kids will learn how to listen to their inner wisdom.
